Latest Bulletins – South West Landlords Association

SWLA Stationery Updated

After many years’ use of our much loved Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement, it is no longer! Stationery and documentation has been updated and is live and ready to use on the SWLA website (members area). We have added new Renters’ Rights Act documentation, and made updates to most existing forms. New forms include the SWLA Assured Periodic Tenancy Agreement, a new Guarantor Agreement (and Explanatory Notes for Landlords), a Pet Policy and Tenant’s Application to Request a Pet, and more. If you need a document and it’s not listed, please let the office know. We can add to our catalogue over time. A reminder to print as you need them as we regularly update stationery to keep compliant.

Possession forms have been published by gov.uk;

Assured tenancy forms – GOV.UK

Please be cautious that you are using the correct forms – you can always check with the office.

Reminder to Serve the Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet 2026

Landlords with tenancies already in place on 01 May 2026 will need to serve the Information Sheet to each of their tenants. More detailed information on this can be found in the Bulletin. You have until 31 May 2026 to serve it. Remember to keep evidence of service and file with your Tenancy Agreement.
