Landlords Needed to Beta Test the Government’s ‘Register your rental property’ Service

The ‘Register your rental property’ (formerly known as the PRS Database) team is inviting landlords to take part in a private beta phase to help shape the future of the ‘Register your rental property’ service.

During the private beta phase, volunteers will be asked to register on the service and provide feedback on their experience.

The service will not be implemented until later in the year, and any information entered during the private beta phase will be deleted shortly afterwards. The purpose of this phase is purely to test usability and ensure the system works well for landlords when it is later fully launched.

Testing started on 20 May and will continue to take place in stages over the coming months, until further notice. If you register your interest and do not hear back immediately, please do not worry as your details will be recorded and you will be contacted you when the next testing phase begins.

All landlords will need to register all of their rental properties on the Register. This is a chance for landlords to test it and feedback to the Government.
