Cornwall Council is inviting HMO licence holders, agents, and individuals who are currently applying for an HMO licence to take part in an engagement exercise on proposed changes to mandatory HMO licence fees in Cornwall.
This engagement provides an opportunity to gather views on the approach being proposed and the potential impacts. The engagement is intended to help Cornwall Council:
- Understand how the proposed changes may affect different types of landlords.
- Identify any unintended or disproportionate effects.
- Consider whether any mitigation measures may be appropriate.
- Improve the way we communicate with landlords and administer the licensing process.
The engagement will run for six weeks (Monday 8 June until Friday 17 July at noon).
