If you served a Section 21 or Section 8 before 01 May 2026 and your tenants haven’t moved out OR if you didn’t apply to court and you let the notice lapse – you will need to serve each tenant with the Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet. These tenancies now become Assured Periodic Tenancies as of 01 August 2026. You have until 31st August to serve it if you haven’t done so already.
